The Mozart Festival Opera is performing Wolfgang Amadaeus Mozart's "The Magic Flute" on Nov. 9 at the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. after an introduction by Randy Stewart, the fine arts producer for KSMU radio.
Student Activities Council has once again brought new entertainment to Missouri State University with comic actor Hal Sparks tonight at the Plaster Student Union Theater. Most might know Hal Sparks from Showtime's TV series "Queer as Folk." He is also a regular on VH1's "I love the '80s" and "I love the '90s.
Last Wednesday, the Student Activities Council and the Student Government Association hosted a panel discussion on the problem of global warming. The movie, "An Inconvenient Truth" was shown, and a group of professors and professionals discussed the issue.

Starting on Nov. 10, the Student Exhibition Center will be hosting the first group in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition, which highlights the work of graduating seniors in the Art and Design department.
