Student killed in crash

Students work to improve campus recycling

Student organizations on campus are working to put in a recycling bin at Bear Park South by the end of October where commuter students as well as administration can bring their recyclables. While standing on the Missouri State campus, if someone were to face a trashcan and make a complete circle, most likely they would see at least four more trashcans, but no recycling bins, said Alexander Wait, academic adviser for Students for a Sustainable Future.

Water damage closes indoor track

The arena that once famously hosted champion basketball games, concerts by well-known musicians and a speech by a former vice president is now playing host to years of water damage. As yellow caution tape stretches out across the corner of the track with plaster remains strewn behind it, and the edges of the ceiling above tell old tales of past water damage with strips of peeling paint dangling off the wall, the damage remains visible to individuals who have visited the track in McDonald Arena over the past few weeks.

Student tickets nearly sold out

The memorial benefit concert in honor of Jared Gudde and Andy Schauer quickly became standing room only as those wishing to help the families filled The Keyes Gallery.
