The best thing to do now is to move on to the truth. SAC seeks to be all inclusive of our student body. We make allowances for students who can't attend the Tuesday meetings; students can get involved in committee meetings and still be involved. We work to be the best stewards we can of your student involvement fee. The members who attend our meetings work hard to ensure we bring the best events to our campus. SAC Exclusives were created by me in an effort to recognize and reward those members who go above and beyond in their service to this university through SAC. The ghost hunt has been the first and only such event thus far. The claim that these events are paid for out student fees is true, but no extra money is set aside for these events. They are added as a part of the contract and can be stricken by the performers if they choose. For the ghost hunt, an additional $30 was passed to pay for our reservation at the Lander's Theater out of our Membership Development bud-get, $500 set aside to develop and reward our members. These events are in addition to the normal meet and greet scenarios that are open for everyone, which in the past have included individual time with the performer, autographs, and pictures. After this fiasco, I think the term "SAC Rewards" should be coined to prevent further confusion. For those who are already members in SAC, thank you for your hard work. You have no idea how much you are appreciated. The only thing we need to make this organization better is more students. SAC meets Tuesdays at 4 p.m. in PSU 313, the Parl-iamentary Room. I hope to see you there.
