Bush administration responsible for 9/11 attacks

Seven years after the events of Sept. 11, in the midst of another race for the White House, the events of that horrible day remain a distant memory in the history of our country. Around 3,000 innocent Americans, murdered. Many rescue workers are dying because of the air, which the Environmental Protection Agency said was "OK" to breathe. They now face outrageous medical bills with little help from the government. A lot of Americans are against the current illegal war in Iraq, ready to blame Bush for lying to us all, but never thinking to themselves if his administration lied before. In the years since Sept. 11, a growing body of evidence has formed proving Sept. 11 was a false flag terror operation, designed exactly for what the neoconservatives wanted: "A new Pearl Harbor."

I am of course talking about alternate theories for Sept. 11 or "conspiracy theories" as some balding car salesmen from Nixa might call them. The American people need to realize that the official version which we all know, is by definition a conspiracy theory, (because supposed hijackers conspired to commit illegal acts against the U.S.), but the term "conspiracy theory" is always used in some fashion that implies and element of myth, or falsity. The only difference between the alternative and official viewpoints is, who did the conspiring, an answer that has yet to become clear.

Sept. 11 has been a precursor and rationalizing tool for this administration to get away with their outrageous and immoral agenda, by exploiting the American people's patriotism and emotions about those "attacks."

Bin Laden is not responsible for Sept. 11. Don't believe me? Check the FBI Web site, and he is not wanted for Sept. 11. Why? Because the FBI has admitted they have no hard evidence linking him to Sept. 11. Another lie from the Bush administration.

Sept. 11 set the perfect opportunity for the PATRIOT Act and Homeland Security; both are more geared toward the disregard of civil liberties, focusing more on American citizens than foreign terrorists.

Mr Nelson: Wonderful piece on a day of rememberance! Nice touch taking the words of an overstuffed hollywood producer and putting them into our lovely paper on this day of mourning. (Continued…)

you sir, are truly a moron.
You say the Bush administration is responsible. Hands down one of the most idiotic statements I've ever heard. The hijackers and masterminds of 9/11 planned the attack years in advance. (Continued…)

This is possibly the most uneducated column I've seen. How this was even printed is beyond belief. You really think a president could formulate such an act and it be kept secret by all parties involved? All parts of this column were completely ridiculous. (Continued…)

Is it so hard to believe that the government may have lied to us? I don't think so. I remember watching the attacks at school, and I recall many witnesses saying the planes did not look like commercial airliners. (Continued…)

I'm getting fed up with this Iraq being all Bush's fault. Question... Who declares war? Congress, not the President. While he had a vital role, you can also blame the 80-some Democrats voting aye for the war. (Continued…)

Let me guess. You watched "Loose Change" or the equally dumb first half of "Zeitgeist" and decided to believe every word because you hate "Bu$h" and think you can blame everything wrong with this country on his administration. (Continued…)

Before people forget, Congress has the power to declare war. However, Congress never declared war with Iraq, they simply appropriated funds for our troops. (Continued…)

Really? Yet, the Senate voted for the use of armed forces for Iraq. (http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=107&session=2&vote=00237) I don't see any funding in that particular measure. (Continued…)

Though I don't necessarily buy into conspiracy theories, either, there is some strong evidence that the official version of 9/11 isn't the most accurate one. (Continued…)

How soon do we forget that Iraq used chemical munitions in its war with Iraq, used Biological weapons against own people, and, after the 2003 invasion of Iraq, over 5,000 weapons filled with poison gas and nerve agents were found by United States forces. (Continued…)
