Letter: Destroying display was 'repulsive'
Issue date: 10/9/08 Section: Opinion
I find it completely repulsive that people vandalized the pro-life display.
I can see the protestors, but even the protestors were in bad taste. Instead of making people think about pro-choice, they made themselves look like idiots, holding signs saying "Up the butt" and others.
It just sickens me to know that people are so ignorant of their own cause.
If you do not agree with the pro-life stance, be prepared to hold up your own argument. I am so tired of these protestors making themselves look like idiots. The vandalizism was the final straw.
I have one final statement: if you do not agree with the pro-life stance, destroying their display is only going to put more people on the pro-life side.

You know, you could at least have the decency to call it by its proper name, appeal to ridicule. One group, however, had a bunch of signs that were based on false statistics, false correlations, and scare tactics. (Continued…)
